Dorothea “Dottie” Bragg, M.D.

More About Dr. Bragg

Dr. Bragg grew up in Cartersville, Georgia, and her family still lives nearby in Macon. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!) Before attending medical school at the Medical College of Georgia. She then went on to complete her OB/GYN residency in New Orleans at the Ochsner Clinic Foundation.

After finishing residency in 2024, Dr. Bragg has been practicing for about two years and became board-certified with the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in November 2025.

What she loves most about women’s health is the opportunity to care for women through every single stage of life. As she puts it, “there is something so humbling about getting to be there for my patients on both their best and worst days.”

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Bragg is an avid reader who loves baking and cooking comfort foods, and she enjoys spending time at home with her husband and their cats. We’re so happy to have her as a part of the Shaw Center family.
