Halcyon Home for Battered Women
Safe shelter for domestic violence victims and their families offering a 24/7 crisis line, counseling, support and children’s activity groups, emergency financial assistance for domestic violence victims, and legal advocacy.
Mothers of Preschoolers
A local support group for Mother’s of Preschoolers to discuss parenting issues, child development issues, childcare available to attend.
Lawson Neel Medbank
Assists low-income individuals in obtaining prescription medications
Overeaters Anonymous
A support group; Meets every Tuesday night at 6 p.m. at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, no dues or fees
First Option Care, Inc.
Free pregnancy tests and information about pregnancy, abortion, and adoption; post-abortion support groups

Thomasville Community Resource Center
After school programs for children ages 5 to 13; free parent support and parenting skills groups every Wednesday from 10:30 a.m . to 12:00 p.m. beginning in August; Teen Clinic offering free education and clinical health services.
Babies Can’t-Wait (Early Intervention Program)
Services infants and toddlers from birth to 3 years who have developmental delays and their families including speech-language therapy, vision services, occupational and physical therapy, and nutrition services.
